Artist & illustrator – France (Paris, 75)

Joseph K. Roman lives in a world populated by pop culture: films, series, comics and cartoons, manga and paperbacks.
Illustration enables him to show this world as he sees it: in portraits, color and geometric symmetry, where creatures from Studios Ghibli meet Wes Anderson characters, where Pixar nostalgia confronts the latest Netflix series. He likes to re-imagine what he sees, what he reads, creating his own version of it, imagined for days and illustrated for hours. At the moment, he's an art director in an advertising agency, but his dream is to make a living from his passion: pop culture art. So it's off to Les Jours de l'Encre to continue his journey!
